The error you are seeing indicates that you have not installed the new version correctly, it looks like it is using the 0.5.0 version of the bindings, which is in the 10.04 repository.</description>

I tried running mapviewer.py (Ubuntu 10.04 with python-osmgpsmap) and got this error:

		<description>@Jonas: Primarily, osm-gps-map does not use clutter/opengl/etc. It runs on Gtk+ and Cairo alone, and many people find it draws faster and feels more responsive. Beyond that I think osm-gps-map has a flatter easier to use API.</description>
