I spent some time wrnoikg on the Saving Time challenge, too. My first approach was very similar to yours and checked in at 250 chars. After trying other approaches and exploring how PHP behaves in some pretty weird edge-cases, I’ve managed to get mine down to 187. Keep at it!

You cannot be a mentor and a student (unless they've changed the rules). So you'll need to find somebody to mentor you and whoever else applies for Conduit-related work.

Maybe we should schedule some time to talk about Tomboy possibilities...I was thinking of mentoring this year and haven't done much thinking about projects yet.
