Yep - look good on getdeb but I can't use it on Gutsy because of python-vobject, which depend on python-dateutil, wich will not be instaled because of some other python dependencies.

I'll wait to see conduit on Ubuntu repositories. Until then good luck on development.

You should put some gradient gloss in the yellow and green labels to make them look more sexy.

Nice to hear about the work on conduit and your upgrade to gutsy. You probably didn't notice but there was a fairly active thread on the Ubuntu forums about mobile phone synchronization in Ubuntu and it evolved over time into a discussion about better synchronization period.
The majority being 219 votes to five. You see the thread discusses how the current PalmOS synchronization is outdated and should be replaced with something like conduit. This conclusion was made because of a number of reasons, people are more likely to use their mobile phone as an organizer these days than a PalmOS based device.
The second being that according to palm the PalmOS software is dead.
What were the drawbacks of the thread. Well more like a drawback.
Conduit does not currently support mobile phone synchronization. This proved a tedious battle as when discussing on irc to the maintainers and developers whether conduit should replace PalmOS synchronization, the common reply being. Conduit doesn't currently support mobile phone synchronization nor does it state on its roadmap any plans for a release of its mobile phone support.. Another big one was their lack of knowledge on opensync's development. They seem to think it is not maintained frequently which could not be further from the case. I was just wondering, is it not more viable to support a standardized system like sony ericssons, nokia's etc method of synchronization than aiming for the more expensive counterparts. iphone etc. You can get allot of support in there that way. I don't know, maybe your waiting for a more stable release of opensync before adding support but it seems wasteful to me. Conduit is a great application which should be made available to as much devices as possible.
