Grey haired and using Ubuntu, and think Contuit may be the answer to my backup syncronisation...? Will we eventually be able to syncronise in either direction, or is it possible now....? Read about Conduit on the Ubuntu website...! Nevertheless all sounds great, many thanks.

Hi,

This sounds like a great service for the desktop.

Could this be used for backup purposes?

I have a lot of photos that I want to be easily backed up to a server and synchronize the contents to other PC's as well.

This server is not running gnome, so can this service be used?

Also, why tie it to Gnome?
